"Blue Wren Cottage exceeded our expectations and is the perfect base to explore the region. We loved the property for its wildlife and sunsets and peacefulness and the house is cozy, comfortable andvery clean and above all charming. Thank you for offering a great Ballandean experience."

"The Blue Wren is a historic cottage in a magical setting. If you like peace and quiet, views over the countryside and fresh air this is the place for you. Lovely fireplace made up and ready to go when you arrive, comfy beds and plenty of local wildlife to entertain you make it hard to motivate yourself to get up and go out. But if you must go out the cottage is in a great location to visit Girraween, so many wineries, Storm King Dam as well as the shops and cafes in Ballandean or Stanthorpe. "

"Such a beautiful little cottage in the perfect location to explore nearby Girraween. Very comfy bed, clean, and had everything you needed. It's only about 10 minutes walk down the road from the park, so you are able to grab a coffee in the morning from St Judes and then head out for the day. The tavern had a pretty satisfying dinner too !! If you are a hiker, you have to do the Pyramids at sunset - unforgettable experience. "

We enjoyed a lovely relaxing stay at Blue Wren Cottage. The cottage was the perfect size for my husband and I, and my son and his partner. Excellent separation with an ensuite off each bedroom. The location is very serene, a vineyard across the road and wallabies in the hills behind. Fantastic location close to wineries and Girraween NP. Just a short stroll down the hill to ST Judes Bistro which does an amazing breakfast, with quality Fonzie Abbot Coffee for those aficionados. Our wine bus tour picked us up at the gate and we can't wait to get some more couples together and come back to stay in the Barn! Definitely recommend.
